The assistance of private companies and business partners are an essential part of any emergency response.  However giving companies full access to WebEOC can cause some level of discomfort among EOC managers.  For many agencies, this greatly hinders the collaboration process.

Given this challenge, SD County OES leveraged the WebEOC Twitter plug-in and a low cost social network site, to develop a workable solution that address many of the issues surrounding private partnerships and WebEOC access.
